The 5G Front-haul Semi-Active Equipment is specifically designed to address the challenges in deploying 5G base stations, such as insufficient optical cable resources, high construction costs, long construction periods, and difficult expansion. This equipment utilizes active WDM on the DU (Distributed Unit) side and passive WDM with colored light modules on the AAU (Active Antenna Unit) side to form a unified managed front-haul network. It features 1+1 protection and real-time monitoring, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in 5G networks.
